A relatively new blend, regular production of the ‘hybrid’ C9 Sela Long Grain in Pakistan started not very long ago. The C9 Sela long grain bears striking similarities with IRRI-9 long grain, partly because it’s a hybrid seed, however the rice kernels are relatively thinner, as opposed to the wider kernel of IRRI-6 and IRRI-9.
